Background

The firm was founded by CPA Fredricks Owora. He joined Grant Thornton Uganda at its Kampala inception as Audit Manager, spent eleven years as a partner at Osillo & Co, and was Managing Partner at TGS Osillo before forming Frompa & Associates.

That is over nineteen years across audit and assurance, tax advisory, corporate restructuring and management, not-for-profit organisations, USAID and EU projects, Bread for the World projects under BMZ, forex bureaus, insurance companies and microfinance institutions.

He was lead auditor on the largest investigative audit claim recorded in Uganda, brought for theft of proprietary data, valued at USD 18 million.
